At the fine dining and Michelin-starred restaurant HOCHZWEI, Hans and Hans – father and son, senior and junior – work side by side with their dedicated team. Their philosophy: only the finest ingredients and the highest quality. While the senior has long since handed over the lead to his son, he remains actively involved with great passion, supporting both his son and the Michelin star. Since 2013, the cuisine led by Hans Häge Jr. has been awarded a Michelin star year after year – a true team achievement, as the chef himself often emphasizes.
From an early stage, it was clear to the chef that after his training he would return to the family business and help shape its future as the “next generation”. Competitions and exchanges with fellow chefs continue to inspire him to refine his craft. For him, the Michelin star is both an honor and a motivation.

We want to ensure that your visit with us is as enjoyable as possible. We therefore recommend reserving your table in advance. This allows us to plan our service and kitchen operations optimally and provide you with a relaxed and refined dining experience. With your reservation, you enable our kitchen team and chef to prepare everything perfectly and deliver the highest quality.

If your plans change, we kindly ask you to cancel your reservation in time. This allows other guests to enjoy a lunch or dinner at our restaurant. Empty tables despite reservations are unfortunate and not sustainable in the long term. For short-notice cancellations (less than 24 hours in advance) or no-shows, we reserve the right to charge a no-show fee of 50 EUR to compensate for the reserved capacity. Since January 2025, Michelin-starred chef Hans Häge Jr. invites you to the STUBE ZWEI.NULL – for regional classics, reimagined with a modern touch. Inspired by the region and his family’s culinary heritage, dishes are created here that bring a true sense of home to the plate.
The STUBE ZWEI.NULL is also a tribute by the Michelin-starred chef to the “BAD” innkeepers of past generations – to parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. Some recipes have their roots in times long gone and are retold with great attention to detail. A piece of Swabian tradition – from the kitchen of a Michelin-starred chef.
